Technical Product Specialist - Spectroscopy - VIC

Location: Melbourne

Our client is a leading scientific equipment and services provider with expertise in Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry, and Life Science equipment. The Technical Product Specialist role will focus on Scientific products including ICP-OES, ICP-MS.

This company is seeking a Technical Product Specialist, based in Victoria (VIC), to grow sales in your given territory focusing on the Eastern Seaboard of Australia.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the sales process for the assigned territory and achieve sales targets.
• Drive business growth with a focus on spectroscopy products including ICP/ICPMS, ICP-OES, Chemistry Analysers and Robotic Automation Systems.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities.
• Provide product demonstrations, technical support, and training to customers.
• Attend scientific conferences and exhibitions to promote our products and services.
• Provide market feedback to the sales and marketing teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in physics or chemistry.
• Strong technical background in ICP-OES, ICP-MS.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in scientific sales in analytical instruments preferably in Mass Spectrometry.
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and managing a sales territory.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of scientific equipment with strong analytical science, proteomics and chemistry.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
