Senior Bioassay Consultant – Initial 12-Month Contract – Cambridge, MA (On-Site, W2 Only)

I’m hiring for an exciting Senior Bioassay Consultant position with a global biotech company at their cutting-edge Cambridge, MA site. This is a key role in advancing a next-generation cell therapy platform, focusing on the development and optimisation of vector bioassays.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimise bioassays, specifically vector assays, to fine-tune acceptable ranges and improve understanding of critical variables.
• Play a pivotal role in supporting the development of an innovative gamma delta T cell therapy platform.
• Analyse assay performance, troubleshoot variability, and establish best practices for assay robustness and reproducibility.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including analytical development, process development, and quality.
• Document findings and contribute to regulatory submissions where needed.

Experience Required:

• Strong background in bioassay development, with hands-on experience in vector-based assays.
• Expertise in cell-based and molecular assays, assay optimisation, and troubleshooting.
• Prior experience in gene therapy, cell therapy, or biologics within a regulated environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
