Principal Computer Vision & Data Science Expert - MedTech (m/f/d)

On behalf of our client, we are urgently seeking an experienced Team Leader in Computer Vision & Data Science for the innovative medical technology sector. If you are passionate about leading cutting-edge projects in computer vision and data science and have a deep understanding of medical device regulations, then this position could be perfect for you!

Your Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership and Mentoring: Lead and mentor a team of 6 professionals, consisting of experts in computer vision and data science.
  • Project Development and Execution: Oversee the development and implementation of computer vision projects to ensure they comply with medical software regulations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all developed software products meet the standards of IEC 62304, ISO 14971, ISO 13485, EU MDR, and FDA.
  • Innovation and Strategy: Drive innovative solutions in the application of computer vision in the medical field, ensuring the utilisation of technological advancements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate computer vision solutions into medical devices, ensuring seamless functionality and compliance.

Your Profile:

  • Education and Experience: Advanced degree in computer science, data science, or a related field. Extensive experience with computer vision technologies.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the approval processes for medical software and relevant regulations, including IEC 62304, ISO 14971, ISO 13485, EU MDR, and FDA.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven track record in developing and deploying computer vision solutions in a medical device context.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in both German and English is essential.
  • Personal Attributes: Strong leadership skills, innovative thinking, excellent communication abilities, and a team-oriented approach.
