National Sales Manager - Infection Prevention

Our client is a leader in products used in the Hospital arena including Infection Prevention, Endoscopy, CSSD and Surgical. We are currently searching for a proven National Sales Manager to join the business in Sydney, managing a team of 6 established sales reps. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a business with a strong presence in APAC with exciting growth plans.

Role / Description

Exceptional opportunity for an experienced National Sales Manager to join an innovative Medical Manufacturer with a strong presence in the Hospital Infection prevention space. The successful National Sales Manager will join a high performing team of six established reps, currently operating throughout Australia.

You will be responsible for the commercial success of the Infection Prevention division by developing strong sales strategies and developing a high performing sales culture. You will spend approximately 2-3 days per week in the office setting with the remaining time spent in field in both NSW and throughout Australia.

You will work closely with the sales team, coaching and developing sales abilities to ensure revenue is maximised in your business Unit. Demonstrable experience dealing and negotiating with C-Suite and large health groups is essential. This is a highly strategic role reporting to the Managing Director. We require someone who has a very high work ethic and is happy to travel regularly throughout Australia.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience working in a Regional or National Sales Manager role with at least 3 direct reports is essential
  • The ability to manage upwards and downwards is expected
  • A proven manager with high levels of integrity is a must
  • Having clear examples of leading and improving sales teams is essential
  • Using salesforce and having the ability to coach teams
  • Effective stakeholder management and leadership skills
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout NSW and Australia
  • Bachelors or Master's Degree in business areas such as management, marketing, or economics
