Job Title: Health Economics Manager

Work location: Remote, some occasional travel to Cambridge and/or Uxbridge office.

Work structure: Monday to Friday, 37.5H/W.

Contract duration: 12-months, Inside IR35

Pay rate: £60 - £64/hour

A leading bio-pharmaceuticals company is looking for a Health Economics Manager to lead the preparation and submission of Health Technology Assessments (HTA) in the UK. This role involves working remotely with some travel required to our offices in Cambridge or Uxbridge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and delivery of HTA strategies and submissions to UK/Ireland HTA agencies (NICE, SMC, AWMSG).
  • Partner with global access teams to ensure delivery of health economics deliverables (e.g., health economic models, budget impact models, network meta-analyses).
  • Work closely with local brand and launch readiness teams to provide functional expertise.
  • Lead early asset planning meetings from a UK perspective and input into global strategies.

Requirements:

  • MSc in Health Economics or a related discipline.
  • Proven track record in health economics or market access, with experience in developing high-quality HTA submissions.
  • Strong understanding of NICE and SMC submission processes with demonstrated success in this area.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

In this vital role, the Health Economics Manager will work with global and local teams to develop HTA and national access strategies, ensuring patient access and supporting the development of the company's pipeline assets.
