Job Title: Head of Quality Control

Location: Haarlem, North Holland, Netherlands

Contract Duration: 6 months

Pay Rate: €75 - €85 per hour

Work Structure: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week

About the Role:

Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Head of Quality Control to lead the Analytical Laboratory team at their state-of-the-art facility in the Netherlands. This role is pivotal in maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance while driving continuous improvement across laboratory quality processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Development:

• Lead and manage the Analytical Laboratory team, fostering a culture of quality and compliance.
• Identify, develop, and retain skilled professionals to meet high-quality standards.

Laboratory Management:

• Oversee and optimise laboratory quality processes in alignment with regulatory guidelines, cGXP compliance, and site SOPs.
• Ensure efficient management of the laboratory's budget, resources, and organisational structure.

Quality & Compliance:

• Drive a quality-first culture across site operations while meeting business needs through risk-based quality decision-making.
• Continuously review and improve laboratory processes to ensure sustained compliance and quality performance.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar leadership role within Quality Control.
• Extensive knowledge of GMP standards and regulatory requirements.
• Strong experience in analytical laboratory management and quality processes.
• Exceptional leadership and decision-making skills with a focus on risk analysis and quality optimisation.

Skills and Attributes:

• Proficient in English (essential), with Dutch being a bonus.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage cross-functional relationships.
• Strong organisational and strategic planning abilities.
