Job Title: Head of Investigations and Improvement

Work location: Haarlem, Netherlands

Work structure: Monday to Friday, 40H/W

Contract duration: Initial 12-months. Potential to become permanent after contract

Pay rate: €7000 - €8000 gross/month

What You'll Do:

• Lead and Inspire: Guide the Investigation & Improvement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and achieving departmental goals aligned with our production plan.
• Drive Change: Own the process of investigating production deviations, implementing corrective actions (CAPA), and ensuring smooth, compliant operations.
• Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including QA and RA, to solve production challenges and champion best practices.
• Mentor Future Leaders: Manage a talented team of Project Professionals and Pharmaceutical Specialists, offering mentorship and development to build a high-performing team.
• Ensure Excellence: Play a key role in preparing for and navigating inspections and audits, representing your department with confidence and expertise.

What We're Looking For:

• A Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Pharmaceutical Science or Pharmacy), or equivalent experience.
• A proven leader with a strong background in managing investigation and improvement teams within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Demonstrable success in implementing process improvements and enhancing product quality.
• Deep understanding of GMP and regulatory requirements, with a knack for root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills to motivate your team and drive results.
