Location: Hoofddorp, Netherlands
Contract Length: 12 months
Pay Rate: €44,000 - €47,000/annum
Work Structure: Day and evening shift cycle, 4-days on and 2 days off
Benefits: Shift Allowance and Travel Allowance

About the Role:

Step into a pivotal role with our client, a leading Biotechnology company, as a Cell Therapy Specialist (Manufacturing Operator). Specialising in the creation of individualised immunotherapy products through advanced cell therapy, our client is at the forefront of medical innovation. This position is ideal for candidates with clean-room and GMP experience within the pharmaceuticals/biotechnology sector.

Key Responsibilities for the Cell Therapy Specialist may include:

  • SOP Development: Assist in the creation and refinement of standard operating procedures, batch records, deviations, and change controls.
  • GMP Compliance: Work collaboratively in a GMP-regulated environment, ensuring all activities comply with industry standards.
  • Manufacturing Operations: Perform tasks related to the production of clinical products in clean-room or sterile environments, adhering strictly to SOPs and batch records.
  • Documentation: Maintain precise documentation for clinical manufacturing processes.

What We're Looking For:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or advanced degree, or 3+ years of cGMP experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology manufacturing.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in cell culture processing, aseptic techniques, and the use of cell culture equipment, including Wave bio-reactors.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing regulations, particularly in aseptic processing and cell culture products.
  • Skills: Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and data analysis. Exceptional aseptic/sterile techniques are essential.
  • Problem Solving: Critical thinking with demonstrated troubleshooting skills.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are crucial for success in this collaborative environment.
  • Flexibility: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, adjust to shifting priorities, and work off-shift or extra hours as needed.

Desired Experience:

  • Cell Therapy Products: Previous experience with cell therapy products is highly desirable.
  • Cell Culture: Experience with handling and propagation of human primary cells, particularly T cells, is a plus.
