Let's work together
Equality, Diversity & Inclusion.
Driving the diversity agenda
ED&I / DE&I.
Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I). Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I). Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging (DEIB). The various terms related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are used to represent different nuances and perspectives of the concept.
Ultimately, the different terms all serve the same goal: to create workplaces and communities where everyone is valued, respected, and supported.
Our ED&I Initiatives.
At i-Pharm, we have dedicated ED&I Champions in each region. They are responsible for running our quarterly ED&I events such as "Taste of Diversity Potluck", childhood games, and EDI-themed "Pub Quizzes".
The purpose of these events is to celebrate our diverse culture, encourage open conversations and drive i-Pharm's ED&I Agenda.
Diversity.
"Diversity" refers to the range of differences that exist among people, including differences in race, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, and other characteristics.
Equity.
"Equity" refers to the fair distribution of resources and opportunities, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of individuals and groups. Equity is about levelling the playing field to ensure that everyone has an equal chance to succeed.
Inclusion.
"Inclusion" refers to creating an environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported. Inclusion means removing barriers and promoting an atmosphere of belonging where everyone can contribute and thrive.
Belonging.
"Belonging" refers to the feeling of being accepted, valued, and included in a community or organisation. It is a deeper level of inclusion that recognises the importance of creating a sense of community and connection.
